Taking mask off during sleep

Post by epark300 » Mon Oct 26, 2009 9:57 pm

Does anyone have this problem. Almost every morning I wake up with the mask off. Not sure when I do it but it's an every night occurence.

Also want to try a Resmed Activa mask. My DME though says they have exhausted all options but when I search the web there are plenty of different masks that I haven't tried yet.

Hi,

Don't let your DME determine whether or not you get a good night sleep. You can probably pick up an Activa for less than what your DME will charge for a co-pay. I see them for $50 at Amazon, and have seen them sell for $30 in the auction. Is it worth $50 to you to not have to deal with this DME?

this is a common problem for new users
simply tape mask to face so the pain will remind you to leave it there

cheap masks may be already used, this can be OK as long as not used for long
