Move EncorePro data base to new computer

Post by ClayL » Wed Oct 21, 2009 1:28 pm

I am in the process of moving programs and data from a WinXp laptop to my new laptop with Vista. With help from this forum I have EncorePro up and running and now would like to move the old data to the new computer.
EncorePro help says the data is stored in .xlm files but so far I have been unable to find them.
Does anyone know where the files are?

viewtopic.php?p=254191#p254191

in it is a post I wrote as a guest on how I moved mine which may or may not be helpful as I use EP 1.4 and never got export to work

I hope you are running vista 32 not 64 and have EP 1.8

Thanks I will read the older post. I am using the 64 bit version of Vista and EP 1.8. I got EP 1.8 to work with help from this forum.

H:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data

that is where the file is on my computer -- H is my main hard drive not C

but I am still using EP 1.4
