Hi,

Tell me more...where did you go, how did you travel, did you forget to take the machine or did you simply think you could get by without it? Just curious...

Been there, done that - once and only once. It was kinda early in my treatment and I was still struggling with even using it, so I thought how much difference could that couple hours a night make since it was just a long weekend away? Ha! I sure found out.

I've not been traveling due to the economy but would be having a heck of a time should I not take mine along. On some weekends I'll let the dog out and go back to bed to doze for maybe a half hour or so. I'll keep waking myself with snorts which tells me that the 'ol ResMed and I have to stick together.

I left it behind because I thought it was too much of a hassle to pack it up......NEVER AGAIN!

Hi,

I understand that feeling. Life was easier then I had less things to worry about. But after traveling a few times, I have the packing and unpacking figured out. Worrying about the distilled water when flying is a hassle, but luckily there are grocery stores and Wal-Marts just about everywhere that has a big airport. The one bone-head move I made was forgetting to empty the water tank last time. I lucked out and didn't ruin anything, so I was lucky on that one.

Been there, done that, COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU. Can't sleep without it. Which is weird, because I can sorta cat-nap on the couch watching TV, but no matter how tired I am, I can't fall asleep in BED without the machine.

So annoying.

BEST OF LUCK NOT DOING THAT AGAIN!

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

Should this happen again to you or anyone else - call your DME provider. Many of them work with companies in other towns and may be able to arrange a loaner at little to no cost for you while you are in whatever area you are visiting.

Cpap every night is indispensable. It's so important I recently carried my M-Series, 6-ft hose, Opus 360, and a 20 oz. lithium Ion battery pack, in my backpack with other camping gear, over 20 miles camping with the Boy Scouts at Cumberland Island, Ga. I don't leave home without it!
