Water in Tube/Noise when exhaling

Post by icecavs7 » Tue Oct 20, 2009 1:27 pm

I have just gotten a new mask, tube, filters, and water tank. I am finding that Water is getting into the tube and collecting obviously at the lowest point of the tube. When i exhale i hear a knocking noise and sometimes when i inhale. Does anyone A) know about this and B) know how to fix this. Its very frustrating because it wakes me up and if it does not wake me up it wakes my wife up neither of which is a good thing. Thanks for you help i will look back frequently to see if their are any solutions.

1. Turn down the heat on the humidifier.
2. If that's not possible or not desirable, buy/make an insulated hose cover to prevent the moisture from condensing when it hits the cooler hose wall.
