Been 1.5 weeks on my Auto Pap.
My AHI has been below 3 every night except 1st night.
Friday night, my AHI was 2.6 and usage was 7.67 hours.
I was def a bit sleepy in a classroom type enviro on Sat. and kept yawning.
Does it take some time on the machine for that to really dwindle down and go away?
Today, while not groggy, I def felt a bit sleepy around 11am or so.
Is this normal?
Is this normal?

Re: Is this normal?
Sounds normal to me, in that "normal" response to initial xPAP varies quite a bit from one person to another. Some report feeling better within a short period of time, others say it takes longer, some say they never feel better. Good luck, and hang in there!

Re: Is this normal?
Hope I am not in the never category!

Sounds awfully good to me as a start. Keep it up, and go for your 100% compliance.Been 1.5 weeks on my Auto Pap.

Re: Is this normal?
Hi, this sounds a bit like me at times... take a nap one day, feel great that evening, possibly stay up a little later than usual(?) and so feel tired the next day. Sometimes we can forget that a consistent bedtime is important, as is taking into account all kinds of other things that might be going on, from having an extra sugar donut at the wrong time, to just being awakened even momentarily overnight by some outside noise, but then taking longer than otherwise to completely fall back asleep, all unaware!
Re: Is this normal?
It seems to me that not every day is the same. There are days that my husband feels sluggish and not up to par even though nothing has changed in his routine, and it is the same for me as a non-cpapper. As long as the good days start to outnumber the not so good ones.
