Vibratory Snore!

Post by mdintx » Mon Oct 12, 2009 3:34 pm

For much of my adult life, I'd been given grief for snoring. I'd gotten used to it and rarely did it wake me up. Well, I haven't snored in a good long while. Last night, I snored a couple of times and boy did my mask VIBRATE. Woke me right up! Funny how we forget how much we've acclimated to sleep disturbances....

Hi,

It is sort of like boiling a frog...one falls into the OSA trap one day at a time. Each day still feels kind of normal because you develop coping mechanisms. At the same time, OSA impacts your thinking, and you lose the gumption to take action about it. For me, I let it go until I had a crisis where I couldn't ignore it any longer.
