OT.....for SLJan....Transition

SLJ...just for you.
I was going to ride Mt. Evans 2 weeks ago....but it was too cold and too windy.
I did get a few pics of the transition of the seasons up high.
It was that magic time at dawn when the light is so special.

Sunrise on the Platte Valley from Mt. Evans.

Hey Carbonman,

Thank you for posting the most stunning pictures I have seen in a very long time. I have a love of art, especially the beauties of nature. As I paged down to the first photo, sunrise on Mt. Evans, it actually took my breath away. You managed to capture the surreal color of the sky, layers of clouds, the grounding line of the horizon, and the whispy leaves on the trees, in a composition so perfect it is unreal.

You have an unusual artistic ability . I have been studying them for almost an hour, and I can't imagine how you managed to include all the elements to create a beautiful picture in each shot, one after another.

Carbonman, I am usually casual in any praise I give, but when I get to see pictures of this caliber, the art lover in me lets go, & I have to tell you they are splendid. Thanks for posting them, it gave me great pleasure.

Jan
