Finally at “peace” with my equipment

As you may or may not know, I started my journey into CPAP land on Jan. 03, 2005.
While I cannot say that I cannot wait to strap my mask onto my face and start my CPAP every time that I sleep, I can say that I can tolerate the pressure and my mask. I increased my pressure by 2cm last week and that seemed to make a world of difference. I have partially awakened a few times and wondered where my mask is, only to realize that it is still strapped to my face. At present I am using straight CPAP. I have a prescription for a CFLEX, but my finances at this time will not permit getting it filled.

Like other PAPers, I did not ask for this, but we must play the hand that we were dealt.

Got a real out loud laugh from that one. Glad to hear you're finally finding some solutions to better therapy. Keep up the great work and the great attitude. We are all rooting for you!!!

Congratulations! I loved your experience of wondering where your mask was and finding that it was on your face!!!! Wow! That is comfort and acceptance.

I hope to reach that level at some point. It is good to know that others have.
