Never Happened Before

Post by jrfoster » Sun Oct 11, 2009 8:16 am

Since I bumped my pressure to 13.5 I have had 3 weeks of AHI exactly at 1.9. Which for me is excellent. I have never had AHI's that were identical and especially for 3 weeks in a row! Anyone else have that happen or maybe it is a regular experience some?
I am wondering of bumping up the pressure to 14 to see if I can get below 1.9, or should I let it be? What do you think?

The exact same AHI for 3 weeks in a row - hmmm, what's the odds of that happening? Is it always the same ratio of apneas to hypops? While that is consistently good, you don't know that it is your personal best. I personally would prefer to know my treatment was optimal before settling, but that's just me. If you decide to try it, let us know your results - and how long this streak lasts.

The last 3 wks varied indifferent ways, I went from having a high 16 apeneas to a low of 7 in week one, in week 2 a hight of 25 apneas one night down to 7 another night, and lasts week I saw a high of 23 apneas last Sunday and down to 9 on Wednesday. OAI was 1.5, 1.6 and 1.5. HI was 0.4, 0.3, and 0.4. So each week varied with number of apenas and hypopneas but it all ended up with the same AHI of 1.9 for all 3 weeks. Wierd!
