I have solved the respironics riddle. I can access the data directly from the card without the Encore program even installed on the computer. I have sent you a few emails to discuss maybe putting our heads together, but I can easily write my own version of MyEncore and not rely on the SQL database to get the data.

Take care Derek

Please, please do so! My wife asked today if the 'import data' function of excel might work... I have no clue. It would be most dandy not to have to load this un-needed software in order to access data. Please tell us more!

Phillip,

It would be great, when you and Derek have had your chance to talk this through, if you would share it with the rest of us, please. I don't know if that is breaking any laws here or not. If it's not, please consider sharing this breakthrough news, which is something of huge proportions for users of these machines. Unfortunately, a lot of use have already spent the money on the software, but I'm really interested in hearing what you figured out.

Just wondering if anything had come of this?

I have also been wondering. It has been more than 2 weeks since I ordered and my card reader still hasn't arrived. I am getting a little worried about it. If this can be done, I'd really like to know, just so I can find out what is going on until that time. I have been feeling pretty lousy lately (back to that old pre-pap feeling) and any help I could get from my info I could get right now hopefully would be helpful.

Thanx,

Josie

Josie,

Where did you order your card reader from? If it was from 2factors, I got mine in a week, as did everyone else I spoke with. Just curious.

Sorry to hear you are feelingi pre-cpap, but I find it happens sometimes with no correlation to your therapy but just outside factors. I had to learn the hard way (I'm very stubborn). Take heart in that it goes back the other way eventually. But even seeing your software numbers being worse may not mean it has anything to do with your therapy; ie, the settings, leaks, etc. It may be something totally unrelated (if that helps make you feel any better about not having the data to see).

Hope it arrives soon and you start to feel better soon, too.

Excuse the lack of oxygen! After I posted, I thought "Dummy, you've got to have the card reader. Not the softwear, maybe, but definately the reader!" Sometimes you just have to ignore me. Just didn't think before I posted. Thought of it right after I posted and went to bed. Got my cpap started up. LOL. But was out of town all day today.

Josie,

Great to see your photo!!! Why don't you post it on the Avatar thread so everyone can see you? It's so nice to put a face to your screen name. And don't worry about the post...you sound like me.

BTW LoRi, I did order my card reader from 2factors. Still nothing. If it doesn't come this week I will have to contact them. Surely hope it's not lost in the mail. So still waiting and impatiently doing so.

How long have you been waiting? It took me one week.
