I think my machine broke!Oh no.....

Post by Bearcat42 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 12:11 pm

I dont know what has happened to my machine. When my machine comes on it sounds like a tornado coming through my mask with little resistance. Maybe it isnt the machine but the mask. Anybody else have this problem before?

You may have a leak somewhere:
Check all connection, (machine/humidifier, humidifier/ hose, hose/mask, all mask parts) and check to see if have a small hole in the hose, or in the tube leading to the mask.

I think I finally figured it out, I think. Last night I couldnt take not having my machine anymore so I checked everything again, for the ump-teenth time, and finaaly decided everything looked good.

So I decided, just for the fun of it, to switch back to my FFM and what do you know. My nasal mask apparently has something wrong with it and I cant see what is wrong. It lets ALL the air escape and I get no treatment not to mention being awfully loud. Anyone ever had this happen brfore?

Yeah, I checked those too. After I switched back to the FFM everything went back to normal and I could sleep again!
