Innomed Nasal Aire II..Prong size & CPAP unit does shut

I just bought a Innomed Nasal Aire II mask with medium sized prongs. I bought it on line at CPAP.com. I just guessed at the size. I really like how the unit felt, but air starting leaking out in the middle of the night. The different size prongs are fairly expensive. Should I just try buying the medium plus or large size? Has anyone used the prong sizing device?

Also, my ResMed S7 Elite machine is not turning off automatically when I take this mask off. I'm guessing that means that this mask creates more back pressure than other masks do. Does this mean I will need to get the machine adjusted?
