sticky connector

I need some help with a sticky hose connector on a Zest nasal mask. It won't swivel anymore and it is only 3 months old.
I could try some WD 40 but I don't think it would be too good. I had a pt. years ago who used WD 40 (for real) on her knees--took a long time to convince her petroulim distillates are not good even if it does help your arthritis.

You can purchase food grade spray silicone, it works well for plastics. Glycerine is another safe lube but I don't know how well it would work.

Doesn't Ayr make a nasal spray? Or just the gel.
