Hi wading thru $100 for the machine and $75 postage.
It seems like a lot of money in hindsight. If I knew I was going to be treated the way I was by resmed, to be honest I would not have bothered.
It surprised me that such a large company would be so petty and quibble over 10 days!
But then appearances can be decieving. At the end of the day they did not even sand me a detailed printout of the 3 weeks, just a summary, despite my request for the detailed 5 day report.
Is there a way to test Remstar Auto is working ?

Fifi,
You rented this machine directly from Resmed? How did you go about doing this? $100 for thirty days is not bad but $75 for shipping is steep. From what I've found the local DMEs charge $200 +/- per month for a rental.
How did the therapy go for you? chrisp (another forum member) has found that the Spirit did not work for him compared to the Puritan Bennett 420E auto. You might consider looking at the PB. It's also what I use.

Wading Thru I am from Europe not US. This is the only machine I have had in the auto range.
I need to find how to hire some of the other makes. I am considering the remstar auto with Cflex or the goodnight 420E.
I normally have a fixed pressure cpap and found I woke up during the night, every single night with the spirit. Not sure if I just needed time to get used to the spirit as my presure is usually 13 and with the spirit maybe the changing of pressures was waking me.
Without being able to compare the spirit with other machines it is difficult to know which machine to buy.
