Titration question

When I was titrated, my sleep study says "Pressure was applied using a Respironics SD BIPAP machine." Does this actually mean I was titrated on BiPAP or do the CPAP's at hospitals also act as BiPAP's if they need to?

The reason I ask is that I had no problems with CPAP the night of my titration, but ever since it's been a real disaster for me. I am now wondering if I was titrated on the BiPAp and maybe I do indeed need BiPap.

fyi, I am getting re-titrated in 2 weeks on Bipap and C-flex to see if that helps.
