Making new molds for the design change is very expensive.

And you don't expect Respironics to pay for their mistake, do you?

If someone is using a comfortgel Nasal (size medium). I would be willing to give you mine. I only wore it twice and now it's just sitting in a bag, in my closet.

why did it take them so long, dont they ever test new masks realisticly before making them
australian,anxiety and insomnia, a CPAP user since 1995, self diagnosed after years of fatigue, 2 cheap CPAPs and respironics comfortgell nose only mask. not one of my many doctors ever asked me if I snored

Not a problem.
This forum does not allow me to give the link, so you will have to do a two step search:
Go to the US Food and Drug Administraton Homepage,
then look for the FDA MEDWATCH Reporting Form (3500).
This is your FDA complaint site for defective Respironics ComfortGel Masks (or any other manufacturer's product).
Once at the Site, hit the 'Begin' button.

If no one complains, nothing will get done to fix it.
