How do you get informed about new cpap products?

Post by Marietjie » Fri Jul 10, 2009 7:49 am

May I ask how you guys get informed about new cpap products ?
Through ---------
the media ?
notice to you through the post ?
radio ?
from word of mouth ?
Over here, if it wasn't for cpaptalk and Cpap product sites,
I will never have any information about anything re Cpap products?
I would like the Manufacturers(Distributors) to send out latest information
about new products. It can be done!
The Supplier that sells the equipment can take down the buyer's address
and forward this to the Manufacturer (Distributor). Isn't that very good
advertising? OR is it plainly the user's own inisiative to phone(or internet)
the Supplier, say every 6 months or year to find out about new products?
I suppose it will be too much for cpaptalk.com to give members a short
notice about new products once a year ?
I bought the Swift Lt today after I slept with a borrowed one last night
and find it very convenient. The nose part is so much smaller and less
noisy compared to the Swift 11.

I scourge Cpap.com, cpapauction.com, resmed.com, fisherandpaykel.com and respironics.com regularly.

I'm not really into "new" stuff or trying the "latest and greatest".......what I picked out in the very beginning has been working just fine for me......so I stocked up on it.
However, hanging out on this forum seems to be the best source of that type of information.

My opologies, cpaptalk.com - I remember now, at the top you've got:..... Cpap and Sleep Apnea News / Cpap Product News (view more) and Popular Tags.
Thanx for info re new products.

I was looking through the Arthritis Bulletin my husband gets quarterly.
It informs you all about new meds, assistive devises, etc
it will be so nice to receive some kind of news updates from
Distributors regarding sleep apnae therapy, etc.
