Respironics Heated Humidifier

Post by MartiniLover » Mon Sep 12, 2005 5:13 pm

I have a Respironics BiPAP Pro 2 (typical Respironics machine) and a new Heated Humidifier (1005792) and I don't have the manual. I figured out how to plug it in, but..........................

Is there a gasket, or something that goes between the air outlet on the machine and the air inlet on the plastic water container of the Heated humidifier? I thought it might just snap together, or slide together, but it leaks air so bad that I can see that isn't the way it goes together.

Someone out there has one, this should be easy, please help me.

There is a small rubber gasket, about an 1 1/2" long that goes over both the machine outlet and humidifier inlet. You have to have this or you can't get them to work together. I'm sure you can buy them if you don't have one.

Cheers,
BP
