DeVilbiss Intellipap as a Travel APAP?

I frequently see the DeVilbiss Intellipap described as a travel APAP. What is it about this machine that makes it a good machine for travel? I'm especially interested in hearing from those of you with experience with the Respironics M-Series Auto..

From what I've seen of the Intellipap, it has a smaller footprint, but similar volume and weight as the M-series. It also has a built-in power supply, with no external power-brick as does the M-Series.

What other features make the Intellipap useful as a travel machine?

Any comments on use of the Intellipap's carry-case for airline travel?

The IntelliPAP autoadjust has an integrated humidifier, that snaps off the bottom of the machine and travels in the same bag as the machine. This machine can run off any common AC line voltage, as well as typical automotive DC voltages (including gel cells). The Smartlink card module stays attached to the machine when it is in the bag, as well.

The bag will hold the machine, a hose (in my case, a hose with a felt covering) and a mask. There is another small pocket for the power cords (DC and AC-- made my own DC cord to work with my astronomy/amateur radio gear). It is smaller than a typical SLR camera bag.

I just used it in portable mode last weekend. Am planning to post about it (with pictures) soon. I had no problems whatsoever, and got useful data as well. I will also shoot a couple pictures of the bag, if I have time.

I will find out next week how well this device travels by air. I have a laptop bag, a camera bag and the IntelliPAP machine, all to carry on.
