Still having leaks

Post by bonjour » Mon Jun 29, 2009 8:08 pm

I have tried a Comfortfull full face mask, Comfortgel full face mask, ultra mirage nasal mask and the Aptiva nasal mask and all indicate significant leaks, both with and without taping. With the nasal masks I have no indication, other than the apap data, of other than very minor seal leaks at any time of the night that I am alert. This occurs at both high 19cm and low 12 cm of pressure.

Any suggestions?

Fred

the comfort gell masks can be resized to suit your face, after that careful adjustment of the elastic straps is needed while lying down in bed is best

I understand that only the comfortgel nasal mask can be "resized", not the full face mask, and I've tried adjusting the straps for a month, has not worked.

adjusat straps when lying in bed, or you may have the wrong sized mask, also wear mask high up on face
