codes to bypass service needed message

Post by willy wonka » Sat Jun 27, 2009 6:30 am

Hello,

Does anybody have or can tell me where to get, the code to disable the service needed message that appears on my Respironics Bipap Plus M-series machine?

I am unable to take it back to the home health/DME company where it was purchased.

Thanks in advance,

Willie

Willie, I don't know if anyone knows the answer, but you might stand a better chance of getting help with that kind of problem if you'll register on this message board so that people can send you a Private Message. Registration is free... gives you the ability to send and receive "PM"'s.

Is the machine still working, and you just want to get rid of the message itself?

Or has the machine stopped working right?

As I understand it there is no code to do this. The "service needed" is displayed when there is something not quite right in the machine. I may be something minor like not holding the pressure within specs. As soon as the problem is fixed it will go away. You might want to look at replacement or a back-up machine because sometimes the minor problem if not fixed becomes a magor problem and may cause it to quit.
