Please someone I have been without my CPAP for several months. Where do you send to get repairs. My fan is broken. Thanks so much. Karen

How old is the unit and how many blower hours?

Depending on the above you may be better off getting a new or newer unit.

Respirionics as far as I know does not sell any parts for their machines. They also will not take it from you if you try to send it to the factory for repair. The only way to get one repaired is to have a DME send it to the factory for repair. Have heard of one guy that bought one from someone who had the same model but the mother board was fried and salvaged the fan when the bearing went ont on his.

Usually takes several weeks to get it back if you can find a DME that is willing to send it in for you. Sometime if they send it in they will rent or loan you one until it gets back. Because of this situation many of us have purchased a back-up for our use when this happens. If you still have your perscription you can find many good used machines on cpapaution. com.

I've had a couple of fans go, and Respironics just replaced the machines, not repaired them, but then the replacements were not new ones either, though were supposed to have been refurbished, etc. The first one conked out fairly quickly, but the replacement for that one has lasted me a couple of years now, so I've got my fingers crossed. I did buy my own machine as well, but want to keep it for such times as my present one goes out (I'm not near a DME here, so it can take a while to get a replacement), etc.

I'm not recommending him - just saying they may still be for sale and if you have a need?

btw- Why did you wait so long?

Good Luck
