New here

Hi all. I was researching some info on problems with my CPAP and stumbled across this forum. Glad there's a place like this out there for all us CPAP users. I've had mine for about two weeks now and have had a new issue come up in the last couple days. I use a full mask (I can update machine, mask and humidifier type when I get home). The machine is fine when I fall asleep, but I wake up in the middle of the night and it's puffing, randomly. I guess that's the best way I can describe it. Has anyone else come across this? Also, I'm having issue with the C-Flex and can figure out how to turn it down, but not off. Is that something I can do or do I need to contact my supplier?

Thank you all,
~Onna

Greetings to a fellow Michigander...

Is the puffing coming from your machine, or from your mask/breathing circuit somewhere?

On my machine it is(was) press the C-Flex button to cycle between the settings of 1,2,3. Turning it on/off requires access to the clinician menus.

I discovered the puffing was coming from the humidifier. I turned it off and haven't had that problem since. Now I just need to get the C-flex off. Guess I'll have to call on that one. Thank you both!

To get into the clinician's menu, with your machine OFF, lift the door on the top of your machine to find the two arrow keys and the +/- keys. Hold down BOTH arrow keys and turn on the machine. Once it beeps twice, you are in the clinician's menu - you should see an unlocked padlock on the screen.

You can then move between the different machine programming options by using the arrow keys, and you should find the screen that allows you to turn off CFlex by using the +/- keys.

With xPAP therapy, do or do not; there is no try.

Just be sure to write down all the settings before you go messing around, that way you can revert it back in case of a faux pas.
