Getting New Cpap
4 days and counting till i get my cpap i can't wait. i am looking forward to it. just wondering how my dog will deal with it. he don't like when i am doing my nebulizer. he barks and trys to pull the plastic tubing off. any idea's on how to get my dog used to me in my mask.

Glad you're on the countdown. May be a good idea to put the mask on during the day to get the dog used to it before adding the machine sounds. Giving a few little treats while wearing the mask wouldn't hurt. Might be wise to not expose the dog to fragile equipment until you're sure it's safe. Don't need a hole in your hose, or for it to grab the hose and drag your machine off and have it full of water from the humidifier. In my opinion cpap is a totally different sound from a nebulizer, so maybe your doggie won't find it as offensive. Let us know how it goes.

Re: Getting New Cpap
I've been lucky. My dog hates the vacuum cleaner but doesn't mind the vpap at all, even though it looks like a vacuum cleaner attacking me! He still comes in the bedroom with his soft little woofing to wake me up so I can let him outside.
