Missing Data for Last night Encore Pro M Series Auto

Post by remstarcpap » Fri May 15, 2009 2:51 pm

Hi,

today is May 15th. I slept with my Respironics M Series Auto machine last night from about 1am to 9am today. I also took a nap yesterday evening with it for an hour from 6pm to 7pm.

Today I download the data, and all I get is the nap from the 14th, and no data for the 15th. Setting the date range to the 15th gets me an error message. Is there a way I can get the data from the previous night to show up the next morning? I like to review the data each morning when I can remember how I feel.

What am I doing wrong?

sounds like you ran into a problem others have posted here about - missing data especially if the day has more than one session - it is a glitch in the m series and respironics doesn't seem to care enough to fix it

Did you by chance yank the card out shortly after you woke up? This can result in that session not getting recorded.....I have a missing day because I've done that.

TD -you da man. I was gonna mention that but then folks all wanna say it's something else but the session limits can get you.

I think it takes at least 60 minutes before the session is terminated when the power is ON. When the power gets turned off, as in power outage, the session gets terminated immediately. But likely is incomplete until the power is restored.

That's good info.

Good thing I do my data dumps in the afternoon, when I get home from work otherwise I would be a victim of this issue as well.

Waiting fifteen minutes after blower-off is adequate.

I take my smart card out about 15 minutes after I turn off the machine each morning and the data is there. I can load it onto Encore Viewer then with no problem.

so if I take a nap, and then sleep that nite, I will lose the nite data? What if I yank the card before the nap? (don't care about data from naps)

Also, how long do I have to wait after turning off the machine in the am before I can safely get the data?

I always take the smart card out of the machine if I have a nap. Like you, I am not interested in the nap data at all and I don't want it messing up my overnight data.

As I mentioned, I take my card out of the machine about 15 minutes after I get up in the morning. The data is on the card then.
