Help...in pain

Post by jazzmynn1 » Wed May 13, 2009 9:14 pm

Please let me know if this sounds familiar. Since I've been on cpap, two months, I have achy pain that goes into my arms, hands and sometimes my feet and legs. My chiropractor said it could be from my neck and back. I've been having acupuncture and adjustments, but feel bummed out. My medical dr ran some tests.
Sound familiar?

Hi, a little more information might help - do you get the pain on awakening? Do you think you've been sleeping in odd positions trying to keep the mask on properly (thereby being tensed up all night)? Can you elaborate a bit more altogether?

Hi
I had some pains too at first. I think because we sleep more deeply then our body is used to and without moving that this happens.
Make sure your pillow has a neck support, if not roll up a towel and stick it in the pillow case under your neck.
Get a good mattress pad (or a new mattress) If you don't have much money go to the Salvation army and buy some old comforters and put them on top of your mattress under the sheets. Note wash them in hot hot water with a dash of bleach before you do. You only need twin sized ones.
