I always get a kick out of those "lost in translation" errors, too! This is a good one

There are two rules of life. The first is don't tell everything that you know.

What's the problem?

I can't find a picture of it, but when I lived in Japan, there are warning lables on hair dryers that (when roughly translated) read, do not use while scuba diving.

Very good advice indeed, since if you DID use a hair dryer while scuba diving that would be the last time you would scuba dive (or do anything else)klockemy wrote:I can't find a picture of it, but when I lived in Japan, there are warning lables on hair dryers that (when roughly translated) read, do not use while scuba diving.

Well, there was an article recently on FoxNews about some people setting the new world record for the number of simultaneous scuba diving ironers. No joke.

I try to avoid ironing even when I'm not scuba divingklockemy wrote:Well, there was an article recently on FoxNews about some people setting the new world record for the number of simultaneous scuba diving ironers. No joke.
mar (really can't imagine how this would work )

They had a video of it......I am not really sure how to describe it besides 'disturbing'.

I just did a search for it and read about it but didn't see the video...I found out the secret to living while ironing underwater though...each scuba diver took a ironing board, a wrinkled article of clothing, and an 'electricity-less' iron for the venture. I guess they 'smushed' the clothes flat instead of using heatklockemy wrote:They had a video of it......I am not really sure how to describe it besides 'disturbing'.
