O.T. Any Good Hearing Forums

I'm considering getting a hearing aid and am reluctant to rely on my ENT's audiologist for equipment recommendations (does this sound familiar to CPAPers?). Does anyone have any recommendations on quality forums or sites that will let me better understand the range of hearing aid technologies and reasonably priced vendors?

HuH! Jim Google! Most of them aren't anything to shout about.

I agree most are pretty detached. I've posted without responses, had posts moved, etc. Sounds like they don't particularly care for new comers and I didn't even suggest they change their forum structure!
This is the one I'm talking about: http://www.hearingaidforums.com

Edit: Everybody does seem to like the Costco Signature hearing aids at $2000 per pair. That will be my next try.

Can't provide any info on forums. I like the Starkey Destiny 1600 CIC (completely-in-canal). Comfortable, easy to adjust to and just like cpap, won't go to bed without it, hearing aids, don't leave the house without them in ears.
