The specs say the 320G, doesn'T do software. Jim

GoofProof's was a slip of the finger.

The Puritan Bennet 420G does not collect any data. Silverlining won't help you with that.

Correction, Specs say the 420G, doesn't do software either. Jim

So other than pushing the buttons on top to view all data, there is nothing else to tap into. Oh well. Thanks for the help.

Which data are you trying to get?
The 420G does not collect efficacy data.
Even the 420E, which does collect efficacy data (AHI, time per session, leaks, etc.) does not show that data on the screen.

I saw the software being able to log/chart etc alot of data from useage, compliance, snoring, etc etc. Just a plethora of data. I thought it would be nice to look at this data and analyze since I use the machine.

I'll try to make this clearer, in case someone else is reading this thread:

You're right about it being nice to have the data - that's good thinking. But Silverlining can pick all this great data off a machine, and present it you on your PC, only if your machine has the smarts to collect that kind date, and to record it.

Sadly, the 420 G does not. It only knows how to blow the pressure it was set at. No data collection, no data storage, nothing for Silverlining to read on the machine and show you.

Silverlining - like other cpap software - is a "reading" software. It needs a data capable machine to read from. It can't make the machine "have" the data.
