Post by CY » Sun Mar 01, 2009 8:15 am

Dear All,

I have bought the Remstar M series last December and it work great. Unfortunely I droped the mechine in its carry case from the car when I come back from the hosipital. I did not notice any different when I use the CPAP that night but I found the LCD display dispear in the morning and come back in that afterrnoon. I checked the user manual and plug and unplug the power cord and it remaims the same. Sometime it shows up and sometime nothing show up. What should I do ??

LCD displays are pretty delicate and not self-healing. You'll need to have your machine repaired (to replace the display) or replaced entirely.

Assuming by last December you mean December 2008 your CPAP is still under warranty. Take it back to your provider for repair or replacement.

if replaced, insist, no demand a new one, not a refurb.
i had to do this with my dme, my card reader wasnt working, took it in and got a refurb, it didnt work either. so i called and told them if i couldnt get a new one, i was returning everything and going somewhere else.
without missing a beat they said come on in and get a new one.
