My first experience using cpap equipment while having a cold was an awful experience. I have been taking Musinex for a few days and I guess it finally started to work, I prepared to go to sleep as usual with my beloved Swift Lt. for Women mask and just as I began to drift off to sleep a breathed in and out when the Musinex took hold and the mask plastered my entire face with, well you know (the biggest Jelly Fish.) Needless to say after pulling the headgear off, tripping over two dogs, just clearing a 36" baby gate I finally made it to the bathroom sink with no time to wait for the hot water. UGH I think I'll have to forego the cpap till the cold is over.
Living in Virginia Beach, VA. I've had my share of Jellyfish experiences but this one was by far the most surprising, and unexpected.
Has anyone else had this happen?

Jellyfish Attack
Life is not about the amount of breaths you take;
It's about the moments that take your breath away.

Am I missing something - jellyfish?
Re: Jellyfish Attack
No, I haven't had that problem but thank you for the chuckle. I could see it all happening. I have a lot of sinus problems and it has come close to happening but never to that degree.

That would be a lot of snot...
I haven't had much luck with cpap and colds. I usually use Afrin and that clears the nose but then the air tickles the throat and I can't stop coughing. So I have been a bad boy during the last few colds and not used cpap. I found I can usually get away with this for a night or two with little ill effects but any more and my Uvula swells from snoring and then it just goes down hill.

Re: Jellyfish Attack
When I first saw the subject, my first thought was how you treat having been stung with a jellyfish.
My brother got to do that to his wife (girlfriend at the time)....
