first report using pro software

I am technical in nature as in my job.........my trouble shooting skills and experience have taught me to only change one thing at a time if I want to be able to know what the issue/problem is.

So, tonight I will adjust/fit my mask per the manufacturers directions and then see how that changes the equation......one step at a time...........maybe go to aflex after things settle down and I get on a steady routine.

What I see from your posted daily, is a normal mask leak of 45 not 35ish, At a pressure of nine CM, I would thing that to be excessive, when I try to use a mask that vents over 38 LPM @ my 15 CM, it causes my AHI to climb, Add to that the other leaks, I'd be in trouble.

Tip: A vertical line ran through all three graphs will show you what happened and when. Cause and Effect! Jim

I see the same in leakage...............the 35ish number is what I understand the mask vents @ 9cmH2O.

Last night before bed I used the manufacturers tips to adjust the mask and it looks like it helped.......although I understand I have not acheived the flat line.........I felt like it was a pretty good level of progress towards that goal.

Either your mask has a poor quality control vent rate or your machine reads really high, (doubtful) or the O2 plug is missing from the mask. I looked up the mask leak specs, (No easy Task, as the prople who sell it don't care about the most important part of treatment.) Most don't! The chart shows at my pressure of 15CM the leak rate would be as your graph shows 45 LPM.

Sometimes I think the mask manufactures think we have two XPAPs hooked up to a tubing"Y" so the pressure will be correct. But then again why would they care, they sold the product, that's all that counts. Jim
