Getting sick more often ???

Post by yawn » Sun Aug 14, 2005 10:51 am

I'm the type of person that almost never gets sick...maybe a cold once a year at the most. My kids and husband are sick a LOT!!! and I almost never catch anything from them... Since starting CPAP (6 wks ago), I've got my 2nd sore throat and general crappy feeling. The sore throat started last night around 7:00...I thought it was just allergies or something but it's still hanging on today. I got this same thing 2 or 3 weeks ago and nobody else in my family feels sick.
Has anybody else had this happen?
Thanks...Amy (yes, I clean my "stuff" religiously and I'm changing the "white" filter today)

i get sick a whole lot LESS Than pre-CPAP days. I think my body isn't run down so much.

I also do a saline RINSE (not just a spritz) twice a day which seems to keep sore throats and colds from getting in so deep, in addition to keeping my nose more free for CPAP to get in, and my allergies are less(which also gives me more reserves to fight off stuff).
