Zzz Mask Question

I'm considering purchasing the Zzz FF Mask. The sizing charts on cpap.com suggest a medium. However, when using the Zzz-Mask sizing charts it appears as if the large would be a better fit. I noticed that several users have said the mask runs on the "large" side. Would I be better following the cpap.com guidelines or the Zzz-Mask sizing chart? I am a 60yr old female with a fat-face!!

I love the Zzz-Mask. I use a medium but I did purchase a large just to try it because using the Zzz sizing chart, I measured right between medium and large. The large works for me but not as well as the medium. The Zzz is the only mask that does not irritate my nose and I have no reason to know why. One word of caution, if my pressure increases during the night (in the 13 to 16 range), the Zzz mask can leak a little but I live with that in exchange for the overall comfort. I am also not a big fan of the Zzz straps. I use them and I also use straps from other masks I own (the Quattro, the Hybrid and a HR 7600 Series V2) - the other straps seem to work better than the Zzz straps and because you have to remove the top straps from the Zzz mask to wash the mask, the straps have to be readjusted each day doing your best to keep them where the were previously. I understand the Zzz mask might be altered so that the top strap connections are more like the Quattro connections so you will be able to slip off the straps without undoing them.

My recommendation is to go with the medium. Good luck.

One final note - the last Zzz mask I bought leaks thru the little flap that closes when pressurized but when not under pressure allows you to breathe when wearing the mask and not connected to the pump. It is a little leak and I cannot see any difference between that mask and the other two I own. However, the little leak makes noise and I find it annoying so I do not use it.
