Swift LT pillows and faster breakdown

Post by swcompassionate » Mon Feb 02, 2009 6:06 pm

Hi All,

I have been reading several posts about the life of the Swift LT pillows and it seems a lot of you change them/get new ones every four to eight weeks. Unfortunately, I do not have a data capable machine to see if I am leaking but I had a terrible time last night getting the pillows comfortable. It seems like after I wash everything in dish soap it does better for a couple of nights but it seems like the top part of the pillows where the air comes through to go into your nostrils seems more flimsy after washing. Should I switch to baby shampoo. Could the soap I am using be causing the pillows to break down quicker. I have now had the pillows for about six weeks. I just want to make sure I am not doing anything to cause the pillows to break down sooner. Another question I had is this: Is the Resmed Logo on the pillows supposed to face up or down? Just wondering. Thanks for your help.

Maria

I use liquid hand soap (coconut scented) and mine are holding up fine. However I have 6 sets and rotate them so that I only have to wash mine all at the same time every other week.

The ResMed logo should face up.

Also keep in mind that to help adjust the pillows and make them leak-free, the cradle that holds the silicone pillows can pivot up and down on the blue plastic frame of the headgear ... play around with that to make sure you have a good fit.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
