CPAP humidifier problems.

At times, I wake up with my cpap machine and feel worse than if I didn't use it at all. On those mornings, I noticed that my nose is clogged. Unfortuntatley, because of my sinus problems, I have to use a humidifier. Any suggestions about not getting clogged at night with use of a humidifier?

Some say no or reduced humidity helps. Try turning it down or OFF.

I take a Claritin before bed.

I can't because if the humidifier is off, my nose will bleed. What to do? Maybe I should keep the temperature in the apartment warm?

I take zyrtec-D and fluctinose spray to make my nose work right for the cpap. It sounds like you have a sinus condition that needs to be treated. Most seem to be able to use the humidifier real low or off/just passover. Get your sinuses checked out so they don't interfere with your therapy. You can do it.
