3 days of riding in record Jan. temps, in the 70's.
Last night the record warmth moved on and winter has returned.
I did the Dino Ridge ride today. 40F, chilly, fog shrouded hogback ride.
This ride goes up a section of what is called the hogback.
It is the final uplifted seabed when the Rocky Mts. were uplifted,
a REALLY long time ago.
Along the ridge, when the road was built, the secrets of those seabeds were uncovered.
