CPAP.com Help Line Closed Between 10 AM - Noon CST Tomorrow

Post by johnnygoodman » Mon Jan 19, 2009 5:03 pm

Howdy,

Tomorrow is a big day for all Americans. Our company will be taking two hours off tomorrow to watch the swearing in of the 44th President of the United States of America. This includes rolling the CPAP Help Line over to voicemail. Our team members are free to watch the ceremony or take the time to do other things as they choose.

CPAP.com, along with the CPAP Helpline, will return to work at noon and all voice mails left will be returned promptly. The warehouse will get all faster than ground shipments out tomorrow for certain. Its very likely that they will get all ground out as well but it may be that orders placed late in the day will go out tomorrow instead of today.

Thank you all for your understanding. It is a big deal to me and to our company to always be there to answer every question. Last year, we wouldn't let Hurricane Ike couldn't keep our phones down or our orders from shipping out. Even now, I get goosebumps thinking about each and every personal commitment from our team to keep CPAP.com running. That said, I'm making this exception. Tomorrow we are watching the ceremony.

As most of you know, I lean libertarian. The problems facing our nation are many and serious. The policies created to face them will define us for a generation. I have concerns about these policy proposals, I was given an opportunity to voice them through my vote and our country selected its president.

During 9/11, Americans were united by greif. Since then, we have been divided. Liberal and conservative, white collar and blue collar, pro and anti war. Tomorrow, we come together to celebrate a barrier broken and a visible symbol of the equality and justice we believe democracy brings. We remember and affirm the idea of America that binds us.

After that, we'll go on fighting. Its how our system works! But tomorrow, tomorrow I get to be a plain old American who is proud of his democracy. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Wouldn't miss it.

Johnny

Johnny - take 3 hrs, take 10! It's a wonderful, historic day and I know everyone in Canada will be watching right along with you. And just think, you've helped to keep alive so many people who will now have a chance to be part of it too!

Ditto what Julie said.

To bad we can't feel the unity we felt following 9/11 everyday.

And let's hope there is no violence tomorrow.
