Hi Lori,
I finally had some success with eliminating Swift swoosh lines. I increased the amount and size of padding. Because of the extra padding, I was able to slightly loosen the back strap on the headgear. I woke up without any lines on the left side of my face and just a whisper of a line on the right side....which disappeared very quickly. I also found the headgear to be much more comfortable with the extra padding....the side straps used to hurt my cheeks a little.
I've taken pictures of my creation but can't figure out how to add them to this post. If you send me your e-mail address, I can send you the pictures.
The padding looks a bit sloppy in the pictures because I didn't want to take the time to make them look "pretty" just in case they didn't work out. I'll eventually remake them so that they can be applied with velcro (that way you can take them off to wash the headgear). I would be happy to make some for you if you would like them.
How was your experiment with the ice and warm compresses? I didn't bother doing that because the marks I had were disappearing so quickly. I've got a busy day today but will check in periodically to look for your reply.
Have a great day
Amy

Oh, Amy, do post the photos for all to see so we can benefit from your creativity...
To post a photo, go to the photo, right click on the photo and then hit "Properties" with the left side of the mouse. Highlight the address where the photo is and then when you go back into your post draft, paste it. After it's pasted, highlight it and click on the "Image" tab (IMG) at the top of the box where we write our posts.
If you have any trouble doing it, let me know. Neversleeps just told me how to do it. I was able to post the side sleeping woman with the Swift on her head that I couldn't do the other day.
I'll be looking for the post...

I'm trying to post 2 pictures but don't know if I'm doing it correctly. One picture is a "frontal" shot so you can see how I have my tube strapped upward (runs along the right side of my face). On the 2nd picture, I'm trying to show you the inside of the gear so you can see what the strap looks like against your cheeck. The pink is the flannel that I used to cover the padding. Hope you understand this....I gotta fly ....talk later

So you either have to take a photo from an existing URL or you can use a site like photobucket, upload your photo to them and then use the address of that page.To add images to you posts you need to upload them to an image hosting site.
