Re: Need to know about settings
I'm all for taking control of your therapy but you do need to have a good reason for changing pressures. It is quite easy to learn how to do so from simply searching the internet.
However, do you have the software?
What does your data indicate that requires change in pressure?
In other words, try asking questions or posting about issues you are having with your treatment and learn as much as you can that way before going and messing with pressures.
Good luck!
PS - I just noticed that your machine does not provide data. My first objective would be to get a data capable machine and the software ... otherwise you will be blindly changing settings not knowing why or how it should be done. With your machine, you are depedent upon your doctor for all changes to your machine and he would need to do a sleep study (or give you a data capable machine) every time in order to monitor and make adjustments to your treatment.
You need much more than luck, get yourself a better machine!!!

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

If you click on the following link, you can download the setup instructions that the DME removed from your equipment.sharperjudy wrote:I'm a newbe here I've been reading everyones post and replies I want to learn as much as I can Does anyone know how to change my pressure on my cpap? right now it's on #9 I want to try a higher setting.
I believe that the users should have ALL the documents that came with their equipment.

However, I agree with DreamStalker.......to adequately determine how a person is doing with their therapy, they really need a data-capable machine......and, unless you selected the wrong machine for your profile, the M Series Plus is not data-capable.
If you just started therapy, you MAY be able to upgrade your equipment without too much hassle.
