A month of different experience

Post by JeffH » Thu Jan 08, 2009 11:37 am

Today I'm getting my M series cpap pro back from cpap.com. Had to send it in for repair. One month turn around for those that might be wondering how long repairs may take. Anyway, I bought a bare bones ZZZ pap to use while my machine was in the shop. It has been interesting. Reminded me of first starting on cpap. No data to worry about (and I kind of enjoyed that) no exhalation relief, no worrying about turning the machine off when I got up to pee in the night, and manually turning everything on and off. Kinda of a "good 'ole days" kind of experience...LOL.

I think I'm going to turn C-flex off when I get the machine back. I'm used to not having it now and am curious if my numbers will be better without it.

Now in the morning I'll have to get both cards (GF is on the hose also). Download all the data, worry about how we both did in the night, etc.

We're making progress? Sometimes I wonder.

Ooooooh......Jeff. You KNOW you've been missing checking your data.

I think we get addicted to the data or it becomes part of a morning routine.......kind of like that morning cup of coffee (or whatever others drink).......OR.....those candy bars hidden in the fridge.

I really haven't. I did the first week, but I got over it pretty quickly.

I've never understood my data to begin with. I'm so bad about downloading, I do it now only about once every six months.

Jeff, stay here, in the light. Leave Wulfman in the Dark Side. With his candy bars.

LOL,
Babs

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I am a data addict but I am an Electronics Technician so I think it goes with the personality type. I know what you are saying though. I can usually tell if I didn't sleep good without the data but I like to compare how I feel to what is in the data. It correlates well on the M-series Auto.

You got it Babette. I bet I am not as obsessive with it when I get it back. Once a week should be good enough after my "data break"...LOL.

Those are my wife's candy bars. If I should happen to take one, I'm doing so at great peril.

Tell her to hire Mark as her enforcer. He's big enough.

She doesn't NEED an "enforcer"...... She's small but mighty.

Nah.....she's pretty good about sharing that stuff. I'm just not that much into chocolates and candy bars......but every once in awhile, I DO get a craving.......just not very often.
