According to your original post you didn't have your card in the machine all the time, If it's not in the machine it won't record data. data can't jump that far. Jim

Using the eraser trick IS very abrasive and can certainly cause damage, no doubt. If you are that handy, I would try the format from mycpap.org b4 giving in to a new card. It is a new year so you can begin anew. Of course a spare card is always recommended.

Thanks Gumby, I never thought of reformatting the card.(I have the Mycpap card utility) When I used the eraser, I did it very lightly because I was afraid I may damage the contact. I will reformat and see if that makes a difference on it this week. It has been about 6 or 8 months since I last reformatted it.

Yes, I know Goofproof, the card was in the machine the whole time. By this, "and today when I put my card in to download" I meant I put my card in the 'reader' to download.....

Sorry I took you word for word, I was wondering why you would leave the card out, but I'm sure someone does. My problem is forgetting to download it every 7 days and causing a gap. Jim
