Why does this danasoft thing show up?

Does anyone else have a danasoft.com message pop up on posts here? Cpaptalk the only place I find it.

Is my machine doing it or is someone on cpaptalk responsible for it?

I know of one person on the forum who has it in their signature if you are talking the IP number thing. I was able to block it easily.

I noticed that awhile ago, too. I didn't appreciate having my IP number displayed to me on an Icon/sign.....so, I left that thread.

I would highly encourage the person using that to REMOVE IT from their profile......PLEASE!

If you right click on the message it sends, there is an option to block danasoft messages.

I think it just blocks the icon from showing, but does not stop the software (or whatever it is) from working. It is disconcerting the first time you notice it, and then just annoying. Very effective, if that is its purpose.

It doesn't show up all the time. I wonder how it works.
