Update on sleep from swcompassionate

Post by swcompassionate » Fri Dec 26, 2008 7:15 pm

Hello All,

Even though I am still having problems, did not sleep with CPAP the past two nights just to get sleep to control my emotions, sleep is essential in mood disorders, I did sleep on Tuesday night for three hours straight and I only woke up because of hip pain from laying on one side too long and then when I went to turn over mask became uncomfortable and then I just took it off and got out of bed. I think the trick for me is just doing as many hours as I am able but not forcing myself to wear it all night and I hope and pray that eventually the hours will gradually increase. I did request free essential oil samples from Bret at pursleep.com. I hope I get them soon because I am looking forward to that. Does anyone know can you use maybe essential oils or aromatherapy scents say from vitamin outlets or whole food markets, etc? Has anyone tried aromatherapy from a local store and CPAP with success? Thanks for your feedback and help.

Maria

I like Bret's pursleep -- but I have also used some aromatherapy essentials oils from our local health food store.

I have used the lime, lemon, and orange oils along with euctalyptus oil. I put a drop or two of various oils on a cotton ball or a piece of cut up pantyliner. Place it near the intake and you should be good to go. Ask for help when purchasing the oils if you are unsure about the safety of breathing in the vapors.
