Here? or There? I HAVE been working on my aim, but, unfortunately, braces in childhood ruined the gap between my front teeth.

In the county where I grew up, it was really important who got voted in as sheriff, because some sheriffs would immediately deputize all their buddies and relations--up to half the county, depending. That made it really important to remember who everyone was related to before joining any discussions of opinion. But the good sheriffs didn't need more than a deputy or two. And the whole county would relax that year.
Shuck's, JNK, were you the lead guitar on 2006's White Trash Christmas music/video? Someone had e-mailed it to me and I got such a kick out of it! I still have the music on my 'puter, but I sure do remember the visual of Gran'pa peeing in the snow!!!

This year the same friend e-mailed me a music/video of Elvis and Tina McBride's "Blue Christmas". Gads! What a hunk he was in his early days!!! *drool*, *sigh* Last year it was the dancing elves w/the friend and family's faces set on the elves.

I'm glad I was directed to this place first. I am all about helping myself instead of waiting on someone else to hand me something.

Drive on down when the weather clears up and I'll buy you a beef patty and ginger beer! I promise I'll use the spittoon.

I know Pike County well. I lived in Eastern Kentucky for over 40 years. Merry Christmas from another hillbilly (me).

Thanks, wlk. No matter where I live now, the old home place off 460/23 north of town will always be "home." And in my head, Pikeville will always have an upper bridge, a middle bridge, and a lower bridge, with the Levisa Fork running beneath them.

Hey, just for a prank, let's all head over yonder and post threads asking for instructions on how to get into the clinician's menus on our machines while posting links to cpaptalk.com and cpap.com!* Second thought, let's be nice and give them a break for the holidays.

* Added footnote: This was a facetious statement for a childish prank that no responsible, self-respecting CPAPer would ever actually engage in, no matter how fun it is to contemplate the idea. So let's not do it. "Live and let live" is more than just a saying.

Yeah, give'em a break. Their hands really are tied given their position. You know, if they REALLY didn't want us to learn how to access the Clincian's Menus, etc. they wouldn't allow their PM feature. Thimk about that. They know darn well we're passing info via PM that they can't publicly condone. Its a good forum, they've just got certain necessary restrictions.

Yep. It can be fun to joke around about the differences between the two boards. But in all seriousness, my view is that there are a number of very discerning and helpful people doing good work on that board. As long as cpaptalk.com exists, the information that needs to be publicly available is, so I have no problem with any other board's chosen policy. I like getting dressed up now and then myself.

Very good point about the PMs, Slinky.

Ah, jnk, one must NEVER underestimate the power and determination of an "apnean" when searching for or sharing info. "We" find a way!

If you were there waiting for someone to hand you anything, you would still be waiting until the next ice age.

They will get a break when they deserve it. They haven't deserved one imho.
