Two American women were the first to sell fleece hose covers. They called them snugglehose. They made them in their living room. Go to wayback and look at cpap.com. You will see that these ladies were first. Pad a cheek was a leader in headgear covers but is following the lead on hose covers. Not that any of this really matters. Hose covers are practical.

One little tip, when changing hoses use a hose connector and just pull the new hose in with the old hose. makes it real easy. A short 1/2" pvc pipe nipple from Lowes or Home Depot is cheap and works great.

These HOSE covers are wonderfully VERY WELL made; a generous size and very, very nice, quality micro fleece material!! You all need one as a Christmas present to yourself and to someone you love!!! I just cannot say enough about how great these hose covers are that she makes. You may have to email her to get one as she does not have them showing on her website yet—but you will NOT be disappointed when you get yours in the mail!! You will not need any electrical heated hose cover after you try this one--let me tell you ---It is an AWESOME product—so soft, cuddly, and very, very well made!! Thank you KAREN!! I LOVE MINE!!!

I learned very early in the piece to have hose covers on all the hoses I use - bough 4 of em - you are right to sing their praises
1) for hose with no proximal line used with Bipap
2) for hose with proximal line (Vpap Adapt SV)
3) One for a plain travel hose used with S8 Vantage
4) Spare

DSM
xPAP and Quattro std mask (plus a pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap)

YES--it is worth every penny over the Snuggle Hose!! Let me tell you--it is VERY well made, and has nice thick micro fleece that is sewn bigger than what you actually need. Unlike Snuggle Hose--which barely covers the length of the hose and it is made of very thin synthetic material. No comparison at all ---spend the extra money and get the PAD A CHEEK!! You will not regret it!! I just LOVE mine!!!

.....YEA....it is.
Not only is it superior quality and workwomanship....

you are supporting a real American entrepreneur,
made in America product and
a fellow pap'er.

....no brainer.
I'll second that. Snuggle Hose covers are TOO DAMNED NARROW. They are a royal pain in the ass taking them on and off. They are made from inferior fleece that doesn't wash well, either. I've had several different hose covers, and the Snuggle Hose Cover is at the bottom of my list.

I will say I just splurged on a Resmed zippered hose cover, just for kicks, and I do like it. With my hose routing, I don't interact with the hose much, so the colder feel of the nylon on the Resmed cover doesn't bother me. Works very well. Appears to be odd sized, as it is too long for my 6 foot hose. Maybe it's made for a 8 foot. Definitely not a ten foot, though. My Ten footer is in a Snuggle Hose cover - because I don't want to fight taking it off again!!!!

So, I'll second that Karen makes a high quality product that you will LOVE.

Cheers,
Barbara
