Newbie, waitin for my RX but confused with all these abreviations. I got cpap, apap, bipap and then up comes xpap.
is there a link to abreviaitons definations for osd? including the ones on the dr reports.

Xpap is a pap of some type, non-specified. Look at the light bulb at the top of the page and browse some of the excellent articles there while you wait for your prescription.

I know what you're saying, Sleepyangel. All of the abbreviations tend to get my eyes glazing over, too.

There's an article in the Our Wisdom section of the forum (the yellow lightbulb icon, above) that Rested Gal posted. It's called "Selecting Your CPAP Equipment." That article has a link to a thread that's packed with info. The thread is entitled "What's the differences in BIPAP, XPAP, APAP, CFLEX?" and this'll get you there: viewtopic.php?p=56836. Look particularly for Rested Gal's post.
