The higher C-flex setting (3) is supposed to make it easier to exhale, yes. But try all three C-flex settings to see which one feels better to you. Even though C-flex at "3" gives more drop in pressure when you start to exhale, a lesser C-flex effect can feel smoother to some people. I like " 3 " myself.mperkel wrote:So the higher the setting the easier it is to exhale?
What is the full name of your machine? The name of the machine will be written on the top and will begin with the word "Respironics."
If it's an M series autopap, it will be one of these..which one is it?
1. Respironics REMstar Auto (that one has only C-flex in it.)
or
2. Respironics REMstar Auto | A-Flex (that one has both C-flex and A-flex in it.)
