Question about a reading on my AutoSet (leaks)

Last night: AHI 24.6 AI 2.1 Leak 0.14 L/s

night before AHI 16.8 AI .8 Leak 0.20 L/s

If the leak was LESS last night (if I'm reading this right) then why did I have more apneas? *scratching chin*

I must not be reading that right

You really didn't have very many apneas, Barb. But you did have plenty of hypopneas. The AutoSet won't trigger on hypopneas unless they are accompanied by either snore or flow limitations. It sounds as if the AutoSet is not triggering on quite a few of your hypopneas.

In this situation many AutoSet users have to resort to raising their bottom pressure and/or narrowing their pressure range.

I should have explained myself better My autopap for now is at a setting of 8. He will set it on auto at a later date possibly...

I had the same problem with my Resmed Spirit. Tried slowly increasing the pressure til I was at my titrated pressure. No luck.. The problem went away when I bought a PB 420E. I feel much better also.

Great. I need a new machine?

Still wonder about the L's have no idea what they mean LOL

I will ask next Monday when I take the machine in to have the information downloaded. Sure wish they'd give ME the software, I could figure this out
