Humidifier shuts off machine

Post by askell » Sat Nov 22, 2008 10:29 am

I'm a newbie with a Remaster Plus M series with humidifier. I got it home about 2 nights ago, and it wakes me up in the middle of the night shutting itself off. I tried again last night, and it sure enough, shut itself off.

after i diabled the humidifier feature, it ran fine, but of course, my nose is dryer then the savana now

any suggestions?

Never heard of the humidifier doing that. It is supposed to be the other way around, the cpap controls the humidifier. Mine leaked so bad it shorted out the heating coils and it never did that. You might try cutting off the "Auto Off" feature. It does strange things sometimes. All it does is cut off the machine if you take your mask off. I will cut off the whole thing if leaks get bad enough. If the auto off feature does not fix it you best take it back and get it checked.

Take it back to Remaster, sounds like you have a defective Remaster humidifier,
someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...
